Maddox Michael Smith was born on March 30,2008 at 11:56pm. He weighed a solid 8lb 14oz. and is 21 and 1/4 inches long. Maddox and Mom are doing really well and are getting much deserved rest. It was a long 21 hour fight with 4 1/2 hours of trying to get him out naturally. In the end we had to have a C-Section, but it all worked out because we finally got to meet our little man.

He is huge! Wow! Way to go Jenn, Mike and Maddox! I assume he is named after Greg Maddux, former great Cubs pitcher!
