BOY!!!!! We had our second ultrasound today and they were able to determine that we will be having a baby boy. This ultrasound was very difficult to see, and the baby was moving around like crazy (Jenn did admit to having a little glass of caffeine, so that would explain it). It was pretty cool seeing his developed bones and face, and of course when he showed us the goods. At one point the sonographers started laughing and said he was grabbing his butt (like father like son). Overall, we are REALLY excited and the baby and mom are doing well.

Congratulations!!! A boy -- oh, boy! Mike, what I want to know is whether you'll paint the nursery pink now that you know you're not having a girl. Earlier you said the room would not be pink if the baby was a girl, but will it be pink since it's a boy??? Okay, probably not. Maybe black and gold?
If you're going down the Hawkeye road, here are some names you might consider: Herky, Hayden, Kirk, Kinnick, Likliter (maybe not!), Carver, and on and on and on. So many to choose from!

Let the shopping begin! We can't wait. He will be spoiled rotten. We only know what little boys like. Mike will be such a great Dad. Brett will love being an uncle. And of course, we are going to be awesome Grandma & Grandpa!
I was so excited about figuring out how to post that I forgot to mention what a great Mom Jenn will be. Such a caring, loving person who will be a perfect Mom. At least I'll have an idea of what is going on with a little boy as opposed to a girl. Can't wait to figure out what being a Grandma is all about!
